Well guys over the years Ive build a lot of things I was really proud of then and most of them I still like a lot today. I noticed tho that a lot of awesome builds by a lot of people never got portalled and never really got shown. So for that Im starting this topic. For everyone to show as much screenies as they like from old builds you are actually proud of. Also please tell what the building was and where/when you build it or just the background of the build.

So guys its time to relive the old days!

Okay cant get pics to work so I put links to the imgur galleries of each project!

    New Tondro Mall
This build was the reason people all of a sudden actually knew who I was. It was my first massive build after the DirkoMall got mostly abandoned. It was a great succes at first but it eventually died down too. The mall itself and the surrounding area have been rebuild several times. At one point for example there was a massive grinder basement below the mall. At the very end I was actually in the progress of tearing it down but still I liked the build.[IMG]

    RMS Titanic
After the New Tondro Mall was completed I was looking for a new build, something special that would look aswesome when done. I found a perfect scale model of the Titanic and well I decided I wanted to rebuild it but then legitly on the server, so I did. A fun part is that the iceberg was actually build by TheAngryBuddah and the ship never had a bottom build; it looked finished but it was an empty shell on most decks. The Titanic was located south of the New Tondro Mall.

    Archdale
At some point I just wanted an actual portalled city that looked good as New Tondro City had not been the kind of city I liked much. I had had my eye on this cute little island on the dynmap for ages but when I finally visited it, I was much dissapointed to find it owned but not ressed by someone else. After a long while I rembered about this island and I decided to request a land claim which was granted. A few weeks later the island was flat; once that had happened Archdale inner city was build (and portal worthy) from scratch in less than a week.

    Underwater domes
When Archdale was finished enough to my taste (or rather I had no inspiration left for the rest of the island) the pointless jumping from hedge to hedge started again. I needed a new project and eventually I decided to step out of my own comfort zone. I decided it was time I was going to do something under water. The idea for the Underwater domes right next to Archdale's island was born. They contained of an entry dome that lead to a center dome. At the left I had build 3 connected domes that consisted of 3 floors of farms each. Straight ahead I had made a dome with animals in it, which was originally meant to become an animal farm. To the right I was planning on living quarters but they never got finised. The doors surrounding the central dome could be closed with redstone sand doors.

    DirkoZoo
Eventually the domes too started to bore me a bit, so my new plan was to put the hundreds of spawners I owned to good use again. I wanted to make a zoo and so I did. The zoo had actually working street lights and a spawner for each kind of mob. There was an underground path too of which I do not have any screenshots at this point, I might add those later. The zoo was build within a week too, what can I say... I just build quickly dont judge me!

Then the server resetted and I left to join a server that was a remake of Dirko in ways, but as that is down now too and I've build a lot Im even more proud of there Im just going to show you anyways! (server had about the same rules/options as Dirko without magic carpets)

    Mourningwood (and the rest)
This was the first build that was a co-op with an other player, none less than Washand to be precise. Together Washand and I started playing on this new server and we decided we wanted to build something together. I stumbled across a pretty little island (me and islands...) and we decided to go for a bit of an older shoreline themed city. A big highlight for this city was that we actually managed to get working street lights through the entire city. Behind Mourningwood was a big racetrack build by me. The center was a jumping course and behind the track were several barns for horses.

And well surprise surprise, here it is again RMS Titanic 2.0! Completly rebuild with some modifications. The Titanic laid right next to Mourningwood and was build by myself. This one actually had a dock and ways to get in it, it also actually had a bottom build into it. I never really got around to make the inside a thing however.

    HorseVille City
After Mourningwood, the Titanic and racetrack were all about done I started to get bored once more. So I decided I wasnted a side project which quickly became a city of my own. At first I wanted to build a redstone city but I could not find enough fun things to do with redstone so I decided to go for a horse themed village, I just love horses! HorseVille City was still a work in progress when the server got closed down so I sadly could never finish it all. The city was portal worthy within a week, I guess that thing never changed for me in all those years.

    Mountain home
As the Redstone City idea changed into HorseVille City I decided to compile all the redstone stuff I had found to make a special redstone powered home hidden in a mountain. It was a small but fun project building this.

    Old Mourningwood
In the very end Washand and I had yet another little project together. We build a little abandoned village with a huge backstory. It was a completly closed off village which sealed itself at night. The idea was to make it so you had to survive there which should be a hard thing. We never got to completely finish the arena part or the story part of it. Still the build looked good and a bit creepy just like we wanted.

So thats about all Ive build that I was proud of, now Id like to see what you guys build!
