    Official Approved/Blacklisted Mods List

This thread will give you a basic rundown as to what mods are considered both "Approved" and "Illegal"
on Dirkocraft. If you have any questions about mods not listed (or mods that are listed) feel free to ask and it
can be reviewed or given a more in-depth answer as to why it is not allowed.

If you are wanting to download a mod not listed on this list, please ask yourself this question before
proceeding with downloading it; Does the mod you are going to use give you an unfair advantage
over other players? If yes, don't use it. If you are unsure, either ask a staff member or go with the safe
route of not downloading it until you are certain it is safe.

Note: Please keep in mind that this list is subject to change as the Dirkocraft staff teams determines
specific modifications to be considered approved or illegal. It is suggested to keep an active eye on this
thread if you are actively or planning on potentially using modifications on your Minecraft client.

    Approved Modifications
(Mods you can safely use on Dirkocraft)

    LiteLoader/Forge
These Mods are necessary for installing and running specific mods. They have no effect on your Minecraft gameplay.

    Optifine
Optifine is a Minecraft optimization mod that allows you to manage your FPS/configurations to make your
client run smoother and look better.

    5-zig/Armor Status/Effect Status
These are modifications that allow the player to view their armor/effect status outside of their inventory
    GUI.

    JustPvP
This is a modification that includes many different mods such as 5-Zig, VoxelMap, BetterSprint
    (ToggleSpring/Sneak), FullBright, and WorldDownload.

    Schematica
The mod allows you to display a hologram, loaded from the schematic file, for easier rebuilding. The only illegal
part of this modification (printer) has been disabled on the server.

    NotEnoughItems (NEI)
This mod allows you to view the crafting recipes of vanilla items through the Inventory GUI. The mods
required in order to run this mod (CodeChickenLib/Core) are also fine to use.

    Keystrokes
This modification shows you your specific keystrokes when PvPing (which buttons you are clicking and when).

    Minimaps/Waypoints
Minimaps add a small minimap GUI typically in the corner of your Minecraft screen. Waypoints allow you to save
coordinates/show a beacon at specific coordinates.

    Shaders Mods
Shaders Mods are client modifications which change the visual appearance of the game to make it more
    aesthetically pleasing.

    JitterClicking/ButterflyClicking
This is not a mod, however, due to the amount of talk going on about it, it will be listed here anyways. We feel as
though, if you are actually at your computer clicking your mouse, then it should be allowed. In other words,
"Butterfly Clicking" and "Jitter Clicking" are legal techniques to use when PvPing.

    Light Level Overlay
This mod shows you the light level of the surrounding blocks, making it easier to space out lighting to prevent mob
    spawning.

    Chunk Indicators
This mod allows you to view chunk boundaries, making it easier to create efficient redstone contraptions or mob grinder/farm.

    External Damage Indicators

    Macros/Keybinds
Macros and Keybinds are mods/scripts that are able to keybind specific keys/actions
please only use if you are competent in the setup and execution of such tools. Spamming the server with a broken script will be frowned upon (setup in single player advised)

    Inventory Tweaks
Inventory Tweaks is a mod that allows you to sort your inventory/chests, as well as "restock" your hotbar items when you run out of a specific item but have more inside of your inventory.

    Waila/Wawla
This mod only shows you what block you're looking at, it also includes Health Indicators.

    HUD mods
These mods add an overlay which allows you to see fps, health, armour status ect, these do not impact game play so much and for this reason they are legal.

    Blacklisted Modifications
(Mods that will result in a permanent ban if in use.)

    Hacked Clients
Hacked Clients are clients that have multiple modifications that provide unfair advantages. These are clients such
as LiquidBounce, Wurst, Vape, Huzuni, etc. If any client you are looking at says "Cheats", "Hacks", or "Hacked"
you'll want to avoid them or be at risk of being permanently banned.

    Hacked Mods/"Hacks"
"Hacked Mods" are mods that are considered to, overall, provide unfair advantages. The amount of mods that
should be a part of this list is an incredible amount, so they will not all be listed here. However, some of the most
common ones used are KillAura, Aimbot, Anti-Knockback, NoFall, Speed, BunnyHopping, and so on. These mods are
generally known for providing incredible advantages when it comes to PvPing and, if found using any of these kinds
of mods, will result in a ban.

    LabyMod
LabyMod is a commonly used mod across the Minecraft PvP community. However, this mod sends certain packets
to the server that could be considered providing "Unfair Advantages". Because it is hard to determine whether or
not this mod sends harmful/illegal packets, it is considered illegal to use and is bannable.

    1.7 Animations
1.7 Animations is illegal for the same reason that LabyMod is; the packets it sends to the server could be seen as
illegal or providing "Unfair Advantages". Because it is hard to determine whether or not this mod sends
harmful/illegal packets, it is considered illegal to use and is bannable.

    X-Ray Mods/TexturePacks
Xray Mods allows players to specify block-types that they want to focus on through walls/blocks (such as ores,
chests, spawners, etc.). Texture packs used for this purpose are also considered illegal and will result in being banned.

    Finder Compass/diamond radar/ore finder mods
These mods allow players to see certain block-types that they want to focus on through walls/blocks (such as ores, chests, spawners, etc.) and as such are considered illegal and will result in being banned.

    Autoclickers (Mod/Mouse/Keyboard)
Any mods or mouse/keyboard buttons/keybinds that allow you to "AutoClick whilst AFK" are not allowed. If you are not at
your computer, it is considered illegal and will result in a ban. If you are at your computer
and responsive to text chat, auto clicking is fine.
